The dash is the oldest competition of the world sports history, and the foundation of track and field, and even other sports. It is almost one hundred years passed from the first Olympic Games of Athens in 1896 to the 27th Olympic Games of Athens in 2004. And the 100-meter dash is the most competitive and influencing one in the track and field. Therefore, the 100-meter dash causes the great attention of all the countries among those sports. And we can say that the level of the dash reflects one country's track and field status. After entering 21st century, the world dash achievement is improved greatly, and the world record has been broken constantly. But the man's dash of our country is unstable. Still, there is great disparity between us and the world.Before this article, the author has shot the process of Shen Yunbao, who is the champion of 100-meter dash, by the digital camera (scan by fixed position), in the national track and field championship and the choosing for Olympic Games which is hold in Shijiazhuang of Hebei on May 20th, 2004. Then he analyzed those pictures with "Aijie" sports picture analyze systems software 7.1 edition. He mainly analyzed the linking up technology between the two stages—getting-off and middle-distance race running. And draw the conclusions on the basis of the study of the data, angle and some important technical movements, with the hope that these conclusions can be helpful for the 100-meter dash theoretical research and practice in the future.
