Jingpo’s Research On Gender Relationship

In the background of increasingly important geopolitical of today, it is a channel to know a nation well by connecting with the environmental effects of a nation’s development history within and outside the geographical factors involved in the rise and fall of countries. Smooth or not is not only about the situation in our country in Southeast Asia to India in the ocean "along the way" strategic focus on building, it also relates to the border to people’s personal lives, and "neighboring" the well-being of the people in Southeast Asia have suffered its effects. Myanmar is a Southeast Asian country with influence of tension, we may know social problems in the SinoBurmese border at the junction of people and the relationships of them based on the studies of Jingpo, and it is the starting point of this research. Meanwhile select gender relationship as the starting point of the study.In the historical context of multicultural background, Jingpo ethnic group had been living in interaction and communication and other ethnic groups, and productivity development based on the experiences of a matriarchal society formation,matriarchal to patriarchal societies change, patriarchal domination, and at this stage in the process of social development, Jingpo social practice and provisions to meet productivity requirements of the gender relationship and culture.This study is a literature study and field investigation on the basis of information collection, selects the Jingpo ethnic group inhabited by Yu Xiang as survey, select a sample questionnaire to understand Huyu, Jingpo village of behaviors and attitudes,select a representative character as the interviewee, understand the Jingpo’s social elite and ordinary citizens groups under the double perspective of specific situations.Investigation of Jingpo gender relationship based on the public life and private life practice shows gender relations and gender power comparison and social development in different States with different realities and historical needs. In a multicultural context, Jingpo group and individual practices are new features than the traditional society, such as Patrilineal ties linking old life style and new way of coexist, women role play activities in the area of public life extensions and privatelife autonomy increased, diversified groups and individual choice together showed Jingpo class under the feudal nature of patriarchal gender relationship composed of a tribe, respect for matrilineal powers, and transformed to continue under the present patriarchal society and innovation. But based on the limitations of the political,economic, cultural, and individual practice, the slow development of patriarchal rule of Jingpo social State will still continue.
