Teaching High School Reading Ancient Poetry Text In Detail With The Purpose Of Understanding And Applying

Now people from all walks of life are paying more attention to ancient Chinese poetry, as it was a very important part of the Chinese traditional culture. Teachers who teach ancient Chinese poetry in high school are met with the issues, such as how to make teaching ancient Chinese poetry more attractive, how to use ancient Chinese poetry to influence the younger generation, how to improve students’language ability and cultivate students’interests and appreciation when inheriting it. As teachers don’t pay too much attention to teaching reading ancient Chinese poetry text in detail in the past, this paper suggested some strategies for teaching reading ancient Chinese poetry in detail to focus on the application of language and improve students’appreciation of ancient Chinese poetry. Then students can be influenced, they will respect and love this Chinese traditional culture. This paper is consist of three parts, paying attention to the application of teaching ancient Chinese poetry, how to read ancient Chinese poetry in detail, combining the ways of reading in detail and improving students’language ability, and how to make teaching plans for teaching how to appreciate ancient Chinese poetry and essay. The context are discussed from three aspects, students’own needs for development, the characteristics of ancient Chinese poetry, the practical teaching in class, in order to make teaching ancient Chinese poetry more effective.Teaching high school reading ancient Chinese poetry text in detail with the purpose of understanding and applying is going to solve two main problems. Firstly, as teachers are neglecting cultivate students’language ability, I would like to provide some strategies for teaching ancient poetry and explore how to make teaching more effective, and try to improve students’language ability by teaching ancient Chinese poetry. Secondly, as some teachers only teaching the surface of the ancient Chinese poetry, they neglect the text when teaching, I am trying to focus on analyzing reading the poetry text in detail. This would help students have a deep impression about ancient Chinese poetry, students will be interested in ancient Chinese poetry and love Chinese traditional culture. Then the younger generation will pass on this traditional culture.
