Mr.Tao Xingzhi was a great educator in the contemporary age of China, he devoted his whole life to reforming and developing China’s education. His Life Education theory and practices are full of specific predictions and novel creativity, which come from his educational practices and experiment as well as his summaries and criticisms. Including "Life is education" 、 " Society is school" and " the Unification of Teaching, Learning and Doing ", the Life Education Theory is a great educational work of Tao Xingzhi. As an important part of the Life Education Theory, the Unification of Teaching, Learning and Doing theory is the teaching method of the life education. It proposes to unite teaching and learning, stresses the importance of doing. What’s more, it suggests students should use both head and hands during the process of doing, and teachers should have a better understanding about the knowledge before giving it to students. There is no doubt that this theory will help teachers to play a role in leading and teaching fully, assist students to have its own ideas and words during the process, the most important thing is it can improve the moral level to both students and teachers during practices.Recently, college moral education has achieved many results. However, there are still some problems in college moral education. The phenomena of the separation of teaching, learning and doing still happens occasionally. First of all, teacher staff have different opinions on the importance of moral education work, the idea of "full education" has not been totally accepted. What’s worse, "cramming education" and "spoon-fed" still play important roles in class-teaching, the main power of class-teaching has not been expressed. In addition, students’ subjectivity is so weak that they do not notice the importance of moral education, and show little interest in learning and doing stuff. Besides, moral practice has its own problems, such as the disproportion between in-school practice and out-school practice, which also means the moral practice needs to be improved. Last but not the least, parents’ enthusiasm of joining moral education is not high, the power of family moral education is weak.This research is going to learn and study the Unification of Teaching Learning and Doing Theory, master the connotation and analyze the guiding significance to the college moral education work. Meanwhile, according to the findings about the separations of teaching, learning and doing which happens in college moral education, the reasons can be found out in this part as well. And then, based on the Unification of Teaching Learning and Doing Theory, there are some new ways for college moral education work to have a try.This research is divided into four sections. The first section is going to tell about the reasons and meaning of choosing this topic, identify some important words and phrases and the study methods. The second section mainly tells about the main idea of the Unification of Teaching, Learning and Doing Theory, including the background and developments, the connotations and features, the new thoughts and importance which are useful for college moral education nowadays. Next section is an investigation about the college moral education problems, especially about the separations of teaching, learning and doing, this part mainly tells about the organization and carry out of the investigation, the present problems and the reasons of them. The last section is the most important one, with the aim to solve the moral problems, this part focus on the enlightenment based on the theory, including the five specific suggestions and thoughts.
