Moral education is the soul of school education and groundwork of basic education. Currently, Moral Education in Chinese schools is one-way indoctrination which neglects the dominant position of the educated; moreover, the content of moral education is divorced from real world life, all of which result in the rupture between moral realization and moral behavior. How to improve the actual effectiveness of moral education in schools has always been a topic of concern to scholars.Now, moral education returning to real life has become the consensus of theoretical circle. Morality originates from life, exists in life and is for life. Life is the groundwork and noumenon of morality. The pattern buildup of situational moral education is an initial attempt and exploration of teaching reform of schools'moral education. Its theoretical guidance is the Marxism's scientific thesis of "All social life is essentially practical", insisting the primary position of social life practice that bears Chinese specialty, and guiding students to complete their moral study in specific situations. It emphasizes building meaningful moral situations and the participation of learners; emphasizes to gain knowledge in activity, experiencing and reflection, so as to make learners complete the comprehensive study of cognition, sensibility, will, conduct, and so on. This kind of moral education is a process of participation and creation of teachers and learners, a process of interaction, blending of emotion and knowledge, uniting of knowledge and behavior.Conforming to the requirement of all-round development of people, situational moral education reflects the teaching philosophy of conjoining theoretical study and life practice, defines the reform direction of current moral education practice in our country, and puts life and vitality into school moral education.
