| This thesis had a comprehensive deeply research of the teaching faculty situation, teaching outline and teaching materials, teaching target, teaching content, teaching environment, teaching methods, teaching process, teaching evaluation and students’ situation for the directional cross-countries teaching in sports professional of colleges and universities in Hebei Provence through the documentary study, expert interview, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, case study and logic analysis and other research methods.The results of the research show that the teaching popularity of the directional cross-country of sports professional of colleges and universities in Hebei Provence is relatively low with only nine professional sports colleges and universities carrying out the teaching of directional cross-country in seventeen schools. Teaching form are launched in curriculum and project with 75% of the schools in the form of course teaching for one semester. But there are differences in school hours. From the point of view of teachers’ gender, male teachers are more than female teachers. The distribution of the degree of teachers’ title and education background is reasonable with senior titles accounting for 50% and higher education accounting for 75%. The proportion of teachers who engages in teaching directional cross-country with 3 to 5 years seniority are relatively high. Those without outdoor instructor level accounts for 65%. Every year the number of participation in training is less. Their ability to use OCAD software for drawing needs to be improved. The implementation of the conduction to the teaching outline is to be improved. The teaching materials are not uniform. The formulation of the teaching goal conforms to the stands of universities sports curriculum and their stands for the calculation of sports talent with teaching and innovative practice ability. The situation of the achievement to the goals of teaching is relatively optimistic with above 55% basically implemented the targets. 55.56% of teaching content is chosen according to teaching outline. The students taking the majority says that the theoretical part of the teaching contents can’t meet their needs. While the content of practice teaching can basically meet the needs of students. Natural environment has been taken as the main sites for the implementation of the practice activities in the teaching environment. The sites has various of terrain and landform which conforms to the characteristics of directional cross-country projects. The equipment mainly include electronic timing equipment and simple equipment. The popularity of electronic timing equipment remains to be improved. The types of map needs to be increased. Control is difficult in the teaching process. The ways and contents for the teaching evaluation are various. But the specific evaluation standards are difficult to master. The students have a relative high cognitive degree to the directional cross-country and have strong interest in learning it. The main factor which affect the teaching is that the leader’s understanding of directional cross-country is less. Lack for professional teachers who teach directional cross-country and professional personnel to draw the map. Do not have a unified teaching material. And the distribution of teaching content and class hour are not reasonable. In the process of teaching practice, control can not be ensured. In order to promote the development of directional cross-country teaching of professional sports in colleges and universities in Hebei province, it should strengthen the propaganda of directional cross-country, let leaders have a deeper understanding to it. And it also should strengthen the construction of site and equipment, improve the teaching system of directional cross-country and organize diversified teachers training periodically to enhance the level of teachers, etc. |
