An Investigation Of Environmental Protection Consciousness In Jinghong Vocational High School And The Research On Carry Out “environmental Protection” Optional Course

Through reading literature, materials and theories carefully, I summarized and analyzed the current situation of environmental education in China and abroad, and what environmental crisis have faced in Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture nowadays. Then, I analyzed what strengths, weakness, opportunity and threats have faced in Jinghong Vocational High School to carry out "environmental protection" optional course for its students. Therefore, it is very conditional and necessary to carry out this course in vocational school.Through investigating and analyzing the students’ consciousness of environmental protection in Jinghong Vocational High School, I have drawn following conclusions:(1)It is a favorable condition that students have good environmental attitude for carrying out “environmental protection” course.(2) It is more appropriate that vocational schools carry out “environmental protection” optional course in grade one;(3)Male and female students can learn from each other in the environmental protection education;(4) The key to the success of environmental education is the boys in grade two;(5) The focus of teaching should be different in different majors;(6) Teachers can adopt different teaching methods between vocational students and polytechnic students. Based on the above analysis, I put forward the following suggestions to improve students’ consciousness of environmental protection for some vocational schools:(1) Vocational schools should pay more attention to environmental education, and combine with local educational resources to set up “environmental protection” optional course.(2) Organize various activities to strengthen the popularization of knowledge of environmental protection theory.(3) Establish and strengthen the school environmental protection organizations, and give full play to its function.(4) Strengthen and build environmental protection volunteer teams. Aiming at the problems of the survey founded, and combing the local unique education resources, the author design 5 interactive "environmental protection" optional course plans with teaching design method.
