From the perspective of biology,environment,society and humanities,this paper investigates and analyzes the present situation of four consciousness in middle school biology education,namely life consciousness,ecological environmental protection consciousness,animal protection and welfare consciousness,scientific ethics consciousness.The aim is to find the pointcut and way to carry out the thought of ecological civilization in the new era,to carry out the education of core accomplishment effectively,to improve the quality of biology,environment,food and safety of middle school students in an all-round way.This survey was carried out in Fuzhou No.1 Middle School,a famous Jiangxi school of education.The main research methods used are questionnaire survey and data processing analysis.Data statistics show that :(1)among the students tested in each grade,the total score of four consciousness is the highest "ecological environmental awareness ",and the lowest total score is " animal protection and welfare awareness ".(2)Among the students tested in each grade,the highest total score of four consciousness was in the third grade of senior high school,and the overall performance of "animal protection and welfare awareness" was the worst in all grades.the lowest total score of "animal protection and welfare consciousness" in each grade.(3)From the comprehensive performance of four consciousness,there is no obvious correlation between the total score of each grade and the level of education or grade.(4)From the perspective of gender,the tested students only showed significant gender differences in life consciousness,which was shown that boys were slightly better than girls,and there was no significant gender difference in the other three consciousness.(5)This questionnaire survey is scientific and effective.The investigation and analysis of the textbook found that except for the "scientific ethics consciousness" occasionally,the other three consciousness related contents were reflected in the junior middle school human education edition textbook,while the knowledge,skills and emotional attitude embodied in the high school biology textbook were more meticulous,rigorous and standardized.It is found that the main problems of biology four consciousness education in middle school are:(1)the lack of sex education,healthy life education and death education,the lack of respect for the life of oneself and others,and the bias of life value orientation.(2)The awareness of ecological environmental protection is reflected in the lack of basic cognition of ecological relations,the lack of action power of ecological environmental protection in daily life,and the lack of social supervision and participation in ecological environmental protection.(3)The consciousness of animal protection and welfare is reflected in the deficiency of animal survival and related cognition,the wrong emotional cognition of animal social status,the extreme protection of animals and the arbitrary domination of two extreme value orientations.(4)The scientific ethical consciousness aspect manifests as the academic misconduct behavior and the related ethical moral violation in the scientific research.In view of the above problems,the improvement methods and suggestions in the present situation are as follows:(1)to correctly understand and straighten out the true meaning and relationship of four consciousness,the cultivation process should advocate the principle of gradual and orderly guidance according to the situation.(2)strengthening the construction of the teaching staff of biology subject,appropriately introducing highly educated talents with professional background,strengthening the subject training of teachers' consciousness education,clarifying the teaching and research of four consciousness literacy content within the framework of subject knowledge in existing teaching materials,and improving teachers' problem-oriented teaching ability and level.(3)Open awareness education theme classes.(4)Integrating local social resources into biological teaching.In addition,the national,social,school and family four levels need to be combined with improvement :(1)the State needs to improve education policy and relevant laws and regulations.(2)Society needs to provide relevant resources for educational practice.(3)Schools need to build a harmonious and good campus environment and atmosphere.(4)Families need to set positive examples.In a word,paying attention to the cultivation and education of four consciousness in biology teaching in middle school is helpful for teachers and students to form good behavior moral norms such as respecting life,protecting environment,protecting animals and seeking scientific knowledge,establishing positive outlook on life,values and morality,and actively practice socialist core values.It is also conducive to teachers and students to correctly understand and abide by laws and regulations such as the?wildlife Protection Law?,oppose the bad habits such as eating wild animals,and form a good awareness of food environment and health.It is more conducive to teachers and students to set up the scientific concept of development and the concept of ecological civilization in the new era,and to build the public health emergency and national biosafety management system at the national level.
