Research On The Filial Piety Education Of Contemporaryuniversity Students

To complete the Filial Piety Education of contemporary university students is an important job,which maintains The National Prosperity, The National Rejuvenation and The Well-being of the people. It is not only useful to the healthy growth of university Students, but also very significant in improving the soft power of Chinese national culture and national cohesion. At present, the Filial Piety Education education on contemporary university students has already obtained certain social effects under the leadership of the Party and government and vigorous cooperation among the families, the schools and the mass media. But in the new era, it is no doubt that higher requirements should be put forward to enhance the concept of filial piety among university students.In this paper, through investigating the present situation of the students in author’s school,the author wants to the understand the psychological state of college students to filial piety. Meanwhile, the author analyzes the weaknesses in the filial piety education and tries to explore effective ways to carry out the education of filial piety.This paper is divided into three Parts.The first part is about the origin of filial piety and the distinction of filial piety, filial piety education origin and college students’ filial piety education. At first,a brief introduction of Chinese ancient "filial piety" is presented. Then through the interpretation of traditional filial piety and modern filial piety, readers can have a preliminary understanding of filial piety. At last, a historical development of filial piety draws a vivid picture of development of filial piety to explain the contemporary value of filial piety.In the second part, questionnaires and the interviews of filial piety are conducted on groups of university students to summarize the present situation of contemporary university students’ filial piety. Through the investigation of those questionnaires and interviews, this paper finds out the mainstream of filial piety and a lack of filial pietyamong college students. At the same time time, the paper tries to find out the reasons for the lack of filial piety.The third part is based on the analysis of the present situation of the lack of filial piety. In view of the problems and shortcomings,with the help of the domestic and foreign existing theories, this paper puts forward effective countermeasures to explore an effective way for the contemporary college students to have filial piety education.
