Study On The Construction And Development Of College Student Sport Associations In Guangzhou

With the development of economy and education system, college student associations grow dynamically, among which are college student sport associations. College student sport associations play an important role in students’ daily life and college sports culture development through providing a platform to do sports and get more information of sport programs. However,compared with the ones in developed countries, college student sport associations in China still need improving. Combing current status of college student sport associations with an analysis on restricting factors of their development in a managerial manner I try to figure out a better way of their development is critical.Taking Guangzhou, a modern city, as the research base, I analyzed research data from 135 college student sport associations in Sun Yat-Sen University, South China Normal University,Guangzhou Medical University, Guangdong Teachers College of Foreign Language & Art and Nanfang College of Sun Yat-Sen University for current status of sport associations. Results are that inner and outer management system, the ability of management team, activities and material limitations are main restrictions in college sport associations’ development. Combing analysis results, expertise and existing reports in a comparative analysis way, this paper tries to put up suggestions for their development, such as: paying more attention to college student sport association, increasing material support, improving managerial concepts and simplifying approval process. With suggestions above, meanwhile sticking to people oriented principal and inspiring in students subjective initiative, hopefully college student sport associations can grow more scientifically and orderly.
