The Research On The Management Of College Student Associations

In the context of the rapid development of higher education in China,the promotion of college student associations plays an important role in improving the quality of higher education personnel training in China,giving full play to the role of associations in educating people,and then building a higher education country.The content of the management scope of college student associations and how to implement effective management have become the focus of attention of colleges and universities in the work of student associations.Therefore,it is of far-reaching significance and practical value to carry out in-depth and meticulous research on the management of college student associations.The definition of college student club management is that universities follow the fundamental purpose of higher education and the rules of university growth,through the implementation of planning,organization,decision-making,control and other means for student clubs,and consciously guide and encourage students to conduct self-management within the club to play students The resource efficiency of associations and the educational cooperation of colleges and universities ultimately enhance the process of talent training in universities.Based on student development theory and goal management theory,this study believes that the management of college student associations should be supported by the university policy environment,human and material resources,and guide students to participate independently to achieve the goal of quality education.Therefore,this study divides the connotation of college student club management into internal and external.External management is the school’s management of student associations,including system guarantees,resource support,team building and operation process management;internal management is the students’ self-management of the association,including organization management and activity management.Then this study put forward the basic principles of college student association management,including political principles,educational principles,autonomy principles,rules of law principles.According to the above content,this research carried out empirical investigation research,carried out a formal survey after optimizing the questionnaire in the pre-survey,and took a look at the management status of college student associations with three universities as examples.According to the survey,the overall level of preference for the management of student clubs in colleges and universities is slightly inadequate in terms of resource support and team building.The category structure of students’ participation in clubs is slightly uneven,and the management level of student clubs of different levels and different sizes exists difference.After combining the results of the questionnaire survey and the analysis of the interview data,this study believes that the current college student community management issues mainly include four aspects.First,the main reasons for the problem of management mechanism structure are the coordination of functional departments,the lack of effective communication among management personnel,and the limitation of student associations and student identities.Second,the main reason for the connotation of the activities is the insufficient guidance of management values,the mobility of club members and the low position of students.Third,the main reason for the problem of resource supply and distribution is that the concept is not advanced,the scale is not flexible,and the student planning ability is not strong.Fourth,the main reason for the problem of management team building is the lack of personnel selection and matching and training development mechanisms.Combining theoretical research and empirical survey results,and in response to the actual situation of college student association management,this study believes that colleges and universities should actively construct a scientific top-level design,fully carry out strong leadership guidance,and vigorously promote effective support and guarantee,and associations should determine the correct political Positioning,improving self-management capabilities according to norms,grasping cultural connotation and improving the quality of activities.
