Study Of Home Economics Graduate Employment From The Perspective Of The Social Capital

As it is known to all, the education enrollment system in our country had made appropriate adjustments in order to meet our rapid development of economy and society. China began to enlarge higher education enrollment since 1999.The surge in enrollment expansion led to more and more college graduates and the following problems were happened obviously. The employment function of college students has increased gradually about the social capital. So far,home economics has been classified about undergraduate course education field since 2003 and it has nine graduates. Most graduates are willing to grasp the correct employment situation,change cure of employment concept, strengthen the consciousness of competition and meet the challenges of the job market, and work independently in the period of social transformation.However, many college graduates feel puzzle of themselves at a loss in the job market and this leads to some contradictions and problems. Due to the transition of supporting policy system is not completeness, and makes the graduates face a lot of problems in the job market. Structural problems and the unbalanced talent supply also make the home economics graduates feel pressure mightily. The paper makes Jilin agricultural university home economics graduates as an entry point, and studies the home economics graduate employment problems, explores the home economics college students of an effective way to expand and make use of social capital.On the basis of reviewing the related literature and concepts, the paper is under the perspective of social capital about home economics graduates who are facing the employment problems. it studies by empirical way in Jilin agricultural university home economics graduates.This paper points out that the home economics faces a lot of problems in the employment of university students’ employment. Their information channel is not clear, the knowledge structure and the social demand exist cognitive biases, students’ job position is inaccuracy, the hidden social capital problems are unbalanced and so on. The paper analyzes the factors of home economics employment under the social capital perspective which affect students’ employment through the three levels: individual social capital, family social capital, schools,employers and market of social capitals. This paper also points the important measures: we need increase our students’ comprehensive quality; expand the social capital relying on their own; develop their own initiative of students’ families; enhance the innate social capital dimension; make use of college employment superiority; accumulate their social capital;strengthen the government macro-control, promote the public social capital construction.
