Study-weariness is a common phenomenon, especially in the teaching of higher occupation education. Study-weariness has a bad influence on teaching quality and students future career, reflecting the negative learning psychology from learners, and seriously affecting the teaching quality of higher vocational education.Faced with social and economic transformation, we have to answer the questions as: what kind of higher vocational education should be developed? what kind of students should be cultivated? what the quality of higher vocational education is? how to cultivate students? why students hate studying? how to avoid study-weariness? Based on a wide range of domestic and foreign materials on study-weariness, the author take Jilin Province as an example to investigate students’ studying situation from different majors, different gender, different grades b y the way of questionnaire. And based on the current situation in Jilin Province, this paper aims to propose some scientific countermeasures to study-weariness in higher vocational education through visiting some teaching administrators, instructors and professional teachers.The conclusions are as followings:1. Study-weariness is common among students from Higher Vocational College, accounting for 34%, which is divided into mild weariness(22%), moderate weariness(9%) and severe weariness(3%).2. It’s founded that different gender higher vocational colleges from different grades and different professional types presents obviously different degree to study-weariness.3. The causes of study-weariness are different, but the main reasons are contributed to school, society, family and individuals.4. The paper presents some scientific and reasonable countermeasures.For students of higher vocational colleges and weariness among the reasons, from school, social, family and individual students put forward Scientific and reasonable countermeasures. Schools should strengthen teaching management, create a good learning atmosphere and improve the teaching ability of teachers, care for their students and psychological counseling; community should create a healthy environment for students to effectively solve the employment problem; the family, the parents respond to students right guidance, enhance communication; students should establish the correct values of life, strengthen self-discipline, to establish a correct concept of learning.
