Patriotism is a kind of special emotion. It is the people’s deep feelings for his motherland, regardless of geographical and racial. Patriotism education in ethnic regions is helpful to inherit national culture and national spirit; to improve the moral quality of students; to train builders and successors for the socialist construction and to promote local development, to strengthen local construction; to promote the construction of modernization; to maintain local stability and national unity.The children who are in primary school age are in the process of the moral development of "qualitative leap" or specific performance period. To strengthen patriotism education in the primary school stage is helpful to cultivating students to promote the socialization process and perfect personality. The history of Aba people has a long tradition of revolution and quality of patriotism educational resources, but the special environment in the FCOAGA has brought great challenges to local Tibetan primary students’ patriotism education.This paper focuses on the research of Tibetan primary students’ patriotism education in The FCOAGA through literature method, questionnaire survey method and case interview. Firstly, the study is to sort out the basic concept of patriotism and patriotic education related research at home and abroad, patriotism education theory, and the basic situation of the patriotic tradition, resources and history and other relevant information of the FCOAGA, combined with the background and the social basis of the patriotic education in the FCOAGA, through the analysis of the questionnaire survey found the problems of patriotism education in the FCOAGA: the first is the main platform of the FCOAGA Tibetan primary students patriotism education is the school, which is single; the second is the form of the patriotism educational activities in the primary school of the FCOAGA are traditional; the third is the contents of patriotism education of the FCOAGA Tibetan primary students are inflexible and the last one is the effect of the patriotism educational activities in the primary school is not high.In view of the above situations, this paper puts forward the following suggestions : to strengthen the education of history; the construction of socialist modernization and the grand goal of education; national identity education; national defense education; traditional culture education and the education of socialist core values; at the same time, to strengthen the long march culture learning and understanding of the beauty of the natural scenery in hometown, Tibetan traditional culture learning and the Thanksgiving education. Strategically speaking, one is to strengthen the function of the family, community and social in patriotic education; two is to improve the local ecological environment to develop the local economy; three is to mine the elements of patriotism in traditional Tibetan culture; four is to mine the patriotic culture in Buddhism; five is to select the training qualified teachers and full-time counselors; six is to let school play an important role in patriotic education of the FCOAGA Tibetan primary students.
