Geospatial thinking ability including geographical perception ability, geospatial imagination, geospatial thinking skills, the ability to geospatial positioning and geospatial reasoning skills. Geospatial thinking is not only to determine the direction and location, but also include elements of geography permutations, combinations and the ability to analyze the relationship between the various elements.Junior high is the key time for geospatial thinking development, during which students can create a space image of the things. Geospatial thinking ability enable students to establish geographic knowledge systems and improve the efficiency of learning geography, and it’s of great significance.for students to solve problems in life successfully.In this paper, the perspective is on culture junior high school students’ geospatial thinking ability.. By pre-test, the level of development of geospatial thinking ability were assessed and analyzed, and then after a semester of practice post-test carried out after the experiment, according to the experiment record,the changes in the development of junior high school students geospatial thinking and culture teaching are analyzed Finally,give some suggestion and recommendations to the cultivation of geospatial thinking ability for junior high school students.
