As the height of the development of global economy,countries in the comprehensive national strength competition is intensifying,and the essence of the competition is the competition for talents and knowledge,talents come from education,so education of attention more and more is also high,education can cultivate a batch of another batch of high ideas,creativity and strong spatial thinking ability.Under the new geography course standard and education reform,to cultivate students to be strong geographic space thinking ability of the talent will be the top priority in the geography teaching under the new curriculum concept,and it is also under the new curriculum reform of high school geography teachers a big challenge."The study of geography curriculum should pay attention to the guidance of students and pay attention to the cultivation of students' geographical ability".But because of the geography curriculum in the university entrance exam of score is low,in the high school geography curriculum in high school's position is low,causing most of the geography teachers in geography teaching requires students to pay attention to the memory of knowledge and ignore the geography ability,the teacher teach more students self-study of less,there is a big flaw in the cultivation of the students' individual thinking,limits the students' thinking development and seeking knowledge desire,therefore the focus of the geography teaching reform has to move to the cultivation of student's geography space thinking ability.The author will research direction and the Angle of view on the cultivation of high school geography space thinking ability has great practical significance,to some extent,can guide the cultivation of high school geography space thinking ability,at the same time of high school geography thinking play a role in perfecting the construction of a structure.In this paper,through questionnaire survey,theoretical analysis and experience summary and other research methods,combined with the characteristics of the geography space thinking ability,exploring under the new curriculum idea how to improve high school students in the teaching practice of geography space thinking ability,on the basis of the analysis of actual case teaching,the article main content is divided into six parts:In the first part,the relevant literatures were reviewed,the current status and background of the research were analyzed,and the results showed that it was urgent to cultivate the spatial thinking ability of high school students.The second part explains the relevant concepts,and involves the related theory of explanation,including the structuralism theory,cognitive theory,humanism theory and the theory of the zone of proximal development.Described in the third part,the five classification of geographical spatial ability,and training requirements in domestic and abroad,on the basis of effective to cultivate students of high school geography teachers in the teaching geography space thinking ability put forward the constructive suggestion.In the fourth part,through the questionnaire survey,the present situation,characteristics and problems of the geographical spatial thinking ability of high school students in the school of education internship are analyzed.In the fifth part,based on the analysis of the questionnaire and the premise of contact,this paper puts forward the reference suggestion to the cultivation strategy of the geographical spatial thinking ability of high school students.The sixth part,from the geography textbooks for high schools lu has chosen two teaching cases about geography space thinking ability training,in order to achieve better high school geography teachers accept and understand the strategies of cultivating the ability of high school geography space thinking,able to teaching practice effectively.
