Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Youth Reproductive Health Education In China

Youth is the hope of the nation and the future of the country. There are 196 million young people in our country, accounting for 14.7% of the population,and their reproductive health is related to the population quality in the future of China.Youth is golden period from teenage to adult, and the growth and development of the reproductive system contribute to promote the changes significantly in physical and psychological. With the economic development of the society and the process of reform and opening up, the cultural quality and living standard of our people is increasing day by day, and physical health is improved dramatically, the physiology and psychological maturity in youth sex appear former situation obviously, sexual morality and concept tends to diversity and sexual attitude becomes more inclusive, the average age for the first sex gradually decline, the average age for first marriage have been delayed. Such as unwilling pregnancy, artificial abortion(repeat abortion), reproductive tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases have been threatened.The whole concept of reproductive health was put forward at the international conference of population and development in Cairo in 1994, and it has extension from the narrow concept of biology to the concept of sociology which centering on people, and stressed the guarantee that the men and women should have reproductive health services generally. Since the mid of 1990 s in our country some policies and regulations directing at the reality of youth reproductive health has been approved, but various issues in physical, psychological, social and even legal still emerge in endlessly, and the situation was worried which became more and more serious.It deserved to be discussed and focused on by education and health workers that how to protect the psychological health of youth through health education.This paper gives limitation of education time that after the founding of new China, and selects the different levels and categories of people aged 15 to 24, regarding the young students as the main object, following the principle of "caring,understanding and rspecting" to analysis the prominent problems of present situation in reproductive health education, lists related cases and effective data, combines with the time demands,to explore and analyze the reasons, explore the methods and countermeasures, and then putting forward the relevant personal opinions and suggestions. Boosting the reproductive health education career,guaranteeing the rights and interests of reproductive health, and creating a more health, safety, humanistic harmonious environment for the youth.
