Research On The Inheritance And Promotion Of National Spirit Among Contemporary University Students

Since the 18 th National Congress of CPC, the “two centenary goals” proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping have become the impetus driving Chinese people to struggle. Inheriting and promoting national spirit play an important role in gathering the forces in China and rejuvenating the Chinese nation. Chinese national spirit of the Chinese nation in the long process of social and historical development gradually formed, it is a reflection of the Chinese people of all social life, is the most essential of Chinese culture, the most concentrated expression, is a way of life of all ethnic groups, ideal beliefs, values cultural enrichment concept of the Chinese nation’s survival and development of the spiritual bond, support and motivation, innovation and advanced socialist culture is the soul of the nation.Learning and studying the relevant concepts and historical evolution of the national spirit can help contemporary youths and social members pay more attention to national spirit and consciously safeguard the ideology of the Chinese national spirit. Practically speaking, taking colleges, universities and social environment as carriers to help students firmly master historical knowledge, widely inherit and promote national spirit, and build national dignity and confidence can partly resist the impact from negative ideas and lay a solid foundation for national prosperity and revival.In this paper, about the ethos expand research to contemporary college students to carry forward the national spirit and tradition as the main research content. Focus is on the national spirit associated with similar concepts, the national spirit of college students analyze contextual factors Students’ National Spirit and carry forward the like. By integrating theory with practice, this paper analyzes the aspects in which people’s basic needs in real life(food, clothing, housing and transportation) influence national spirit. By combining the background and characteristics of the times, this paper analyzes how the communication of popular elements such as the Internet greatly influences people’s ideology and national spirit, and puts forward the corresponding feasible countermeasures.
