Man is the unity of natural attribute and social attribute; Natural property requires them to "live" and social property requires them to "live better." With the rapid development of social economy, the 21 st century, China has entered a well-off society. With people’s living standards greatly improved, people have spent the "survival crisis", and survival is no longer troubled people’s affairs. Instead, at the same time improving the material life, then bringing mental distress, the human mind is not happy. Affected utilitarianism, instrumental rationality and arrogation of knowledge and skills, modern education is still to teach students knowledge and skills as a top priority. The true life and humane care has been diluted, the value of life is distorted. In recent years, college students commit suicide, homicide, assault and other incidents more often than not, especially in the employment-oriented, skills-targeted vocational colleges. Therefore, carrying out life education in vocational colleges, people should not only pay attention to the natural presence of vocational students individual life, but also focus on the emotional lives of vocational students; To be able to correctly handle the relationship between survival education and life education of higher vocational students, and realize the harmonious development of the life.At present, in our country elementary and middle schools and ordinary colleges and universities life education research and practice has begun to take shape, to bear fruit. However, the study of higher vocational colleges is still in its infancy, this study has surveyed 450 higher vocational students of Tianjin Light Industry Vocational Technical College, Langfang East Vocational and Technical College, Zhengzhou Light Industry Vocational College,and it includes a survey of life cognition, cognitive life, the value and meaning of life, happiness and other aspects of life. The results showed that higher vocational students have life consciousness indifference, distorted life values, poor frustration tolerance pressure, emotional crisis and lack of sense of responsibility; Higher vocational education is the lack of life education consciousness, and life education is superficial, the lack of pertinence, and life education form is single, sterility, etc. At present higher vocational college students’ life education problem is more serious, this research embarks from the practical problems, combining the theory and practice, through changing the concept of higher vocational education, strengthening the management system of colleges and universities, innovating of higher vocational education life form, perfecting the higher vocational education content life, and promoting life education faculty of countermeasures, to construct and perfect the higher vocational college students’ life education.
