As one of the most effective teaching methods, classroom questioning plays an essential role in learning and teaching process. Hence, the method decides classroom teaching quality in critical junior period, especially for math, which is paid much attention to from ancient times.Since the new curriculum reform, math classroom questioning has changed a lot, with its ideology being reflected more or less from teaching process. However, affected by extensive aspects, learning and teaching quality is not efficient, neither of classroom questioning in math.The goal of this essay is to promote effective ways to solve current problems, based on the present situation in junior math classroom questioning, and to develop its efficiency for students and teachers.The essay adopted documentary analysis method to summarize the present research at home and abroad. Under the information of questionnaire survey, interview on volunteers and observation on the action of math classroom questioning, the essay promoted the current situation and problems to figure out specific strategies from three periods, that is pre-questioning before class, questioning in class, and self-examination after class, as to raise the validity of classroom questioning.Survey found that classroom questioning of mathematical class in junior high school lacks effectiveness, mainly displays in: students’ interest in participating in classroom questioning is insufficient, teachers’ inadequate preparation before class, design of classroom questioning is lacking in effectiveness, teachers’ questioning behaviors lack skills, many teachers do not reflection and practice, the effectiveness of classroom questioning easily influenced by other factors.It is supposed to apply the effective strategies in three periods. In pre-questioning process,teachers should ensure enough time to design questions and predict answers; In on-questioning process, teachers are supposed to grab the time to ask, to choose the suitable way to ask, to limit the time to answer and explain properly, not affected by other factors; In self-examine process,teachers ought to form the habit of retrospection in time, and to apply to practice.
