The Study On Mentally Comfort The Mothers Who Lost The Only Child Via Social Work Intervention

Although one-child parents have done as family planning policy, playing a positive role in solving China’s population and development issues, the mother would take the negative impact herself once lost her only child. According to relevant institutions and scholars survey, China has 10 million families losing their only child, need the common concern from the whole society. After consulting related documents, the author found that existing research mostly had focused on the difficulties and solutions of them from macro level. Different from them, the author is concerned about comforting the mother who lost her only child mentally. Though some cases analysis, this paper has far-reaching significance in researching how to mentally comfort the mother who lost her single child.Via some cases analysis by the theory of social work, the paper takes professional social work theory as the guidance, by the way of receiving case, prediction, planning, intervention, evaluation to study the reasons to the shortage of the mental comfort for them. Through the implementation of the case, the current situation of the service object can be effectively controlled, the service object can be a good positive attitude out of the spiritual dilemma, and actively facing life. The author thus uses case social work methods to solve the loss-single-child groups spiritual consolation deletion problems; and evaluation and reflection, according to the whole process of intervention services, this paper provides some references for the same kind of researches.
