The Research On Some Problems In The Transformation Of General Colleges To Vocational Education

With the rapid development of industrial structure and economy, the Party Central Committee and the State Council present the policy of the development of modern VET in order to satisfy the requirements of the development of productivity. The document that presented in June 2014, put forward that we should guide the high colleges to transform and develop, take measures to lead a number of schools that transform to the types of application of schools and VET. Lu Xin,The ministry of department of education said that China will explore the break point that based on the construction of modern vocational education system and adjust the structure of education in a strategic way and attention to the aspects of the 600 junior colleges that transform to regular college after 1999.However, the transformation will devote to solve some kind of problems.Adaption adjust the recognition of society, transformation of development, coordination interests and so on, all these will become the problems that we have to face. Nowadays, the transformation was proposed as an important requirement for the national planning period under the 13 th Five Years Plan,but we need more time to solve those problems.This paper using literature analysis, questionnaire, interviews and other methods, elaborated the concept of higher education and vocational education; under the reading of national policy and the field trip in Shaanxi specific example, summed up the problems that regular colleges transform to Vocational Education in Colleges. First, how to choose training programs and teaching methods;Second, whether we should replace education system or keep original state;Third, whether we should save major setting or change it;Fourth, how to improve the social status and conditions of teachers needs; Drawing on the development of Vocational Education in Taiwan, using Taiwan as an example that can enlighten the VET of China.And put forward innovative tactics to the problem: first, take advantages of training objectives and standards of talented person; Second, take best of training program and teaching method; Third, get through obstacle of education system to achieve fairness; Fourth, make the major settings satisfied the social needs; Fifth,social status and conditions of teachers should improve together. Through this research,expect can put forward valuable suggestions for the direction of the transformation of occupation education in common colleges.
