With the deepening of the new curriculum reform and the promotion of teaching quality in biology at high school, the requirements for teachers’ teaching ability and teaching method are becoming higher and higher. Traditional teaching method can not meet students’ demand for studying. It can not embody the basic idea of new curriculum reform, either. In this paper, basing on the previous practice, the author sticks to the reformation of high school biology, aiming to explore some certain parts of high school biology, and finally improve the teaching quality by using the Game Teaching Method. By using the Game Teaching Method, teachers can teach through lively activities. This method can not only encourage students to take part in the teaching activities, letting them learn the biological knowledge more efficiently, but also can help teachers easily achieve the teaching goals.This paper is based on the theory of Game Teaching Method. The author designs the Game Teaching model and puts it into practice for a semester. Then the author compares the experimental class with the normal class, finally gets some useful data. These data have show that the Game Teaching Method can not only arouse students’ interest in studying, but also help them to get better grades. During the experiment, the author randomly interviews some students and teachers, constantly rethink and finally sum up the achievements, the problems and the solutions to these problems.Through the research of the Game Teaching Method, it has shown the advantage of participatory teaching in high school biology reformation and fully proved the feasibility of using the Game Teaching Method in high school biology class. However, the main problem is that how to improve teachers’ ability in Game Teaching and form a lasting and effective teaching method, which finally will benefits teachers as well as students.
