With the rapid development of the educational informatization and the constant deepening of basic education curriculum reformation, the idea of introducing the methods of game-based teaching into basic education curriculum have been attended and supported by domestic and foreign experts and scholars. With the guidance of The Report and some related "Standards", the researches about game-based teaching have emerged constantly recent years. It caters for the students" psychological characteristic to adopt the game-based teaching methods into the class in basic education curriculum.The teacher can improve the kids' learning interest, stimulate their motivation, and change the single and boring teaching mode in traditional class by creating the relaxed and pleasant class activities.Although the game-based teaching has been supported by educated experts and first-line mathematics teachers of all ages,but the majority of teachers are unsatisfied with the effect of game-based teaching when taking out it in the classroom at present.This paper is based on the means of modern educational technology, the game-based teaching design of the math courses in primary school is regarded as the researching objects, we will introduce the game-based teaching into the math courses of primary school. Besides, we design many strategies of game-based teaching in the basic of relevant teaching theories, and then, we select the referring content in the first volume of the third grade of primary school mathematics for design and implement,using qualitative and quantitative research methods to explore the advantages and values of the game-based teaching in the primary school mathematics courses.Through the practice of teaching, reflection and discussion of game-based teaching,we put forward the problems of the implementation of the game, which teachers should pay attention to, trying to give some advice for the first-line mathematics teachers when taking the game-based teaching method in their class.This paper contains five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction, which includes the research background of game-based teaching, literature review, domestic and foreign research status, the content, ideas, methods and the concepts of game-based teaching of this study.In the second chapter, we have discussed the theory and significance of the combination of game-based teaching and the primary school mathematics. On the other hand, we have design four strategies of game-based teaching through literature analysis and questionnaire survey and expounded the application of it. In addition, we can also know the teachers' cognition and application of game-based teaching through questionnaire survey,which plays an important theoretical support for this research's smooth development.In the third chapter, the game-based teaching strategy was implemented concretely in elementary school mathematics classroom. First of all, we selected an experimental class. Then, we designed game-based teaching case and implemented according to the teaching progress and contents of the class.In the fourth chapter, we have analyzed and evaluated the results of the game-based teaching implement in the primary school mathematics classroom. We adopted methods are as follows mainly: classroom observation, questionnaire survey and interview. Further, we reflected the problem of game-based teaching development.In the last chaper, the main contents is to make a conclusion and outlook of this study. We analyzed the existing problems in the process and make a prospect for the future research.
