Research On College Student Leader Of Network Public Opinion And Corresponding Ideological & Political Education Function

Among college students, there are always some “activists” who give opinions,advices and viewpoints to others on the Internet. With the aid of personal authority or information authority, they actively set and lead public opinions, thus exerting influence through frequent interactions with peer groups. This part of “activists” is called college student leaders of network public opinion. Ideological & political education is a kind of educational communication or political communication practice,and college student leaders of network public opinion provide a new channel for it.The ideological & political education function of network public opinion leader brings new opportunities and challenges to ideological&political education work in the age of new media. On the one hand,college student leaders of network public opinion are changeable, equal and active; on the other hand, college student leaders of network public opinion play a role in leading public opinions, educating media and guiding campus culture. College student leaders of network public opinion are from college student group and finally return to the group. They influence college student group with their own advantages. Being a part of college students, they have a close connection with college students. In view of this, they are able to carry out ideological& political education work in their favorite ways. Therefore, the ideological &political education function of college student leader of network public opinion is worthy of being studied and fully developed by the academic circles.Taking college student leader of network public opinion as research object, this paper studies their characteristics, influence and practicing ways with an aim of exploring their influence on the ideological & political education function. On this basis, the two are combined so that ideological & political education work can be well carried out among college students on the Internet. The paper is composed of three parts.Part 1 gives an introduction. First, relevant research background, theories and practical significance are illustrated. Second, literatures of opinion leader and college student leader of network public opinion at home and abroad are presented. Finally,an introduction to the research contents, research route and possible innovations is made.Part 2 is inclusive of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Chapter 1 analyzes the connotations and characteristics of college student leader of network public opinion,laying a foundation for the study of ideological & political education function.Chapter 2 expounds the concept and connotations of ideological & political education function of college student leader of network public opinion. In detail, the characteristics of ideological & political education function of college student leader of network public opinion are analyzed. Finally, concrete functions of ideological &political education of college student leader of network public opinion are explored.Part 3 consists of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. This paper is focused on analyzing problems in the development of ideological & political education function of college student leader of network public opinion as well as origins of these problems. Specific approaches are proposed to solve the problems in the course of development for the purpose of finally giving full play to the ideological & political education function of college student leader of network public opinion.
