Shengli Vocational College(SVC) is a comprehensive higher vocational college under the jurisdiction of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield. It centers on majors related to petroleum, covering many subjects as medical treatment and health Care, mechanical design and manufacture, financial management. Recently, while insisting on the ideology of serving the enterprises and meeting the requirements of oilfield strategy, development focus and talent training, the College puts forward the revolutionary idea of “making the vocational training big and strong”, accelerating the transformation of development pattern. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign organizational structure to adapt to the transformation.On the basis of current situation of SVC and relevant theories about organizational structure design, the essay compares strategies of SVC before and after the transformation, and analyzes the problems and deficiencies of the current organizational structure according to the thinking of asking questions, analysis and solution. The essay researches on the organizational structures of an IT training company, a large training group co., LTD and the Senior Talents Training Center of Shengli Oilfield to provide reference for SVC. SVC’s function is distributed according to the requirement of the new strategy, and the target mode of organizational structure of SVC is designed into two basic systems: the implementation system and the support system. The implementation system is divided into training project management subsystem, teaching management subsystem and training project run support subsystem. The support system consists of HR department, Labor Union and Party-mass Work Department, Center of Financial Assets, Security Center, and Logistic Service Management Center. To ensure the smooth operation of the organization structure redesign, the essay also puts forward the security measures as follows: the organization structure design in stages, human resources strategy and the connection between old structures and new structures.
