The goal of modern teaching is to improve the scientific literacy of students. It requires students to understand the science itself and the impact of science on society, which needs students to master some scientific knowledge and use scientific knowledge to explain or solve some social problems. Chemical education as an important part of science education, it asks students to gain chemical knowledge, and uses knowledge to analyze and solve problems.In this paper, it uses "task-based approach method" to the study on teaching practice in senior chemistry teaching, which is based on the constructivism conception of learning, Dewey’s "learning by doing" teaching ideas and modern theories of cognition. It chooses two classes of a high school in Guiyang that have no significant difference in score as the experimental classes and control classes, which use task-based approach to promote the optimization of instructional design of class teaching, puts forward some ideas, and lastly makes the teaching practice in experimental classes. After a semester of teaching practice, we have the result by the methods of observing questionnaire, data analysis and so on. In the chemistry teaching, the application of task based teaching method plays a significant role in improving the teaching effect. It embodies in the following three aspects:(1)It is beneficial for students to achieve three-dimensional goals, to improve the students’ academic performance and students’ ability of language expression and experimental research. It enables students to fully experience the joy of success and group cooperation, and to have interest in learning chemistry. It can also improve students’ ability to analyze and solve problems.(2)Effective classroom interaction, which could make students take part in class more actively, and stimulate life vigor of classroom, includes doing experiments by themselves, participating in group work.(3)The teacher should have a more comprehensive understanding of all students and takes the student as the center. In the teaching activities, teachers design perfect teaching cases stem from the original experiences of students. Teachers will get information that students can effectively grasp the knowledge through the overall guidance and individual guidance, as well as after class discussion.During the process of carrying out the task based teaching method in chemistry teaching practice, some suggestions on the application of task teaching method in teaching are put forward, which can improve the way of teaching.This thesis mainly is divided into four parts:(1) Outlines the background and value of the research, the status of the research, the method of the research and the framework.(2)Summarizing the theoretical basis of task teaching method applied in the chemistry classroom. Including task teaching method of the relevant concepts, theoretical basis, teaching process, structure and principle of chemistry teaching design based on "task".(3)Based on the theory of task-based teaching method, designing the corresponding teaching case, and selecting the "iron and ferrous salt", "lively yellow-green- chlorine gas", the "atmospheric pollution caused by sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide etc" as a specific case in practice.(4)During the educational practice, through the analysis of students’ scores, the observation of classroom teaching, the statistical analysis of the questionnaire to get the results of teaching practice, and put forward the teaching reference.
