Parent-child relationship plays a rural role in the process of children’ grow to maturity.It is also a key factor for children to form good cognition, behavior and healthy growth.With the change of social structure and the rapid development of urban economy, people’s values have changed, begin to pursue a higher level of material life and spiritual life. Many parents in the city work from dawn till dark to create a better learning conditions and material conditions for their children. The children of effective management and guidance has been missing. The reduction of time between parents and children has a direct impact on the relationship between parents and children. Because of the lack of parents’ company and discipline, living in the rapid development cities. City left-behind children are more likely to have behavior or psychological problems.From the view of social work, regards parent-child interaction as the breakthrough point, to explore problems of left-behind children parent-child relationship apart in Cheng Du Qing Bai Jiang district Y community. Based on family system theory and group dynamics theory,some problems in the real application of social work methods are put out in the paper, and the corresponding countermeasures are provided. Promote the benign interaction between the parent-child relationship. Ascension left-behind children parent-child relationship. Make the positive development of left-behind children’ family structure function, so that they can grow up healthy. To improve other city left-behind children parents relationship and children’ education provided the practical reference.Firstly, this paper, the main target research are left-behind children in Y community aged from 8 to 12. Through questionnaire survey, scale of parent-child relationship between the service object. Secondly, according to the investigation service plan and scheme. Thirdly, conduct interference and evaluations on parent-child relationship through the parent-child parallel group and interview. Finally, carries on the summary and the reflection of the whole process of intervention. Through the evaluation and summary of the group work, the effectiveness of the group work in improving the parent-child relationship of city left behind children is confirmed.
