Croquet sport has gone through nearly thirty years’ development in China. Now the public have already meet the spiritual needs and physical fitness, and have enough ability to pay, which is the premise of croquet sports industry. In China, Croquet Club is an emerging industry, though started late, but it is a new product as well as an effective carrier to conduct and popularize the croquet sports. With the aging of the population in Xinjiang, the improvement in the ability of people’s material consumption, and the enhancement in the awareness of fitness, there exists huge potential of exploration inside the Croquet Club. Croquet Croquet Club is the direction of future development in China, however, croquet World Alliance has been at the forefront. This paper is conducted through the ways of literature, interviews, questionnaires, mathematical statistics and field survey, extracts 417 members, 24 managers, 45 coaches in croquet World League Xinjiang Branch for the survey. The survey is done over 8 regions and 9 divisions: Urumqi one and two Divisions, Changji Division, Shihezi Division, Wujiaqu Division, Karamay Division, southern Tianshan Mountain Division, Dushanzi Division, Yining Division. This survey made a thorough investigation of the current status of the croquet development in Xinjiang branch of the World League, as well as proposing feasibility countermeasure, in order to provide reference for the sustainable development strategy of Xinjiang branch of the croquet World League. The research results indicate:(1) The imbalance in development between different regions of Xinjiang Branch. It has larger coverage and higher visibility in the northern region. Moreover, croquet sports venues and facilities conditions vary from different divisions within Xinjiang Branch. Few regions equip with good infrastructure and facilities. Some of the regions are in relatively simple facilities in grassroots activity stations and the maintenance of ground is poor, which cannot satisfy the basic training needs of local people.(2) The current overall situations in Xinjiang croquet club movement are relatively good. The number of members is increasing year by year. Among the members, the majorities are retired people if divided by age; by gender, male members far outnumber female members; members with average tactical level of skills, low level of professionalism, low participation in professional training of croquet, narrow way of acquiring knowledge of croquet, and low awareness of Croquet industry and professional degrees.(3) Xinjiang Branch organized croquet tournament frequently and members had relatively high activity in participating the competitions. However, members are passive in the consumption of croquet sports and have low acceptance of the equipment cost and low cognitive ability. Health care professional or volunteer medical supervision are available only in large and medium-sized croquet tournament, but in small games, almost no relevant medical staff present, which results in security risks. The sports injuries among members are very common, even if it is in minor extent, but it still causes a certain psychological pressure on some members when participating in the contest.(4) The means of propaganda of Xinjiang branch are relatively simple and backward. There is lack of management talent of the croquet sports. It is difficult to raise funds and the channel for funding raise is very monotonous. Its ability to raise funds and attract social capital for corporate sponsorship is very low which restricts its future development.(5) A majority of the coaches in Xinjiang Branch are experienced members but without professional training and continuing education. Most coaches are lack of technical or theoretical knowledge about Croquet Sports.(6) The organization and management of the Xinjiang branch of croquet movement are very loose. The managers are at the aging stage in the age structure. It has poor team culture, which is especially reflected in the club’s rules and a lot of activity stations do not follow the principles issued by the headquarters of Croquet World League. Therefore, Xinjiang branch is not perfect in the infrastructure within organization, which leads to the unclearness in the division of labor and finally impacts on the organization and management of Xinjiang club.
