Practical teaching is an important part of the ideological and political theory courses. It has the functions and significance that can not replace by theoretical teaching to achieve the ideological and political education purpose of students. Nowadays, the requirements for a talent is not only solid professional knowledge, but also a high level of ideological and political quality. Practical teaching plays a very crucial role in helping students to improve this quality. However, in the practice of the implementation of ideological and political theory curriculum reform,the universities have not been reversed the teaching tendencies of "the theory of indoctrination more than hands-on experience". This affects the play of Political Theoretical Teaching value.Against the issue that practical teaching is undervalued, and its teaching effectiveness is not effectively enhanced, this study attempts to explore the issue in the universities’ process of implementation of Practical Teaching of ideological and political theory by using survey. Finally, give some countermeasures to enhance the effectiveness of their teaching strategies. More specifically, this study uses literature method, access to large number of documents. First, reasonably define the practice teaching of ideological and political theory. Teachers should follow the course teaching objectives, base on theoretical teaching, and guide students to participate in a variety of practice, to enable students to understand and apply the knowledge of Marxist theory they learned, and improve their ideological and political qualities; Second, from the perspective of system theory, decompose each of the operating elements in the process of ideological and political theory courses’ practical teaching. This is the theoretical basis of this study for deep investigation; Third and the most important part, this study uses the constituent elements of ideological and political theory courses practical teaching as basic dimensions of the questionnaire, then disaggregate specific indicators under Dimension levels, and design a questionnaire and interview outline for some colleges and universities ideological and political theory practical teaching conditions; Finally, based on survey data showing an objective fact, this study proposed some specific measures to strengthen the practical teaching effectiveness of the ideological and political theory implement in colleges and universities.
