Xi Jinping pointed out “ideological and political work in colleges and universities is concerned with a fundamental problem——what kind of people to cultivate,how to cultivate and for whom to cultivate”.The ideological and political theory course is the main channel of ideological and political education for college students,and the main front of marxist theory propaganda.Ideological and political courses in colleges and universities should not only have the momentum of surging waves,but also have the silent effect of moistening things,so that the flames of ideological and political courses will be more prosperous.Textbooks are dead,while teaching is alive.Only by adopting new teaching forms can the ideological and political course content be truly brought into students' mind.The practical teaching is a significant part of the ideological and political theory course and a significant way to train the practical ability of college students and also a concrete embodiment of the methodology of combining theory and practice about Marxism.However,the teaching of ideological and political courses in most colleges and universities is generally characterized by the phenomenon of "emphasizing theory over practice".Only by combining theory with practice can the attraction and appeal of courses be increased,the classroom of ideological and political courses be truly activated,and the teaching effectiveness be practically improved.In the Summary of Implementing the Project of Improving the Quality of the Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities,“practice teaching”is seem as one of the fundamental tasks of improving the quality of ideological and political work in colleges and universities.What's more,it suggests that “insisting to the combination of theoretical teaching and practical teaching,integrating all kinds of practical teaching resources,strengthening project management,enriching the practical teaching contents,innovating practical teaching forms,expanding practical teaching platforms,and guiding teachers and students to participate activities.”Therefore,it is of great significance to explore new forms of ideological and political course teaching in colleges and universities,combine classroom theoretical knowledge with social practice,and provide vivid examples and rich teaching methods to promote the improvement of ideological and political course teaching effect.This paper includes introduction and three parts.The introduction part discusses the purpose and importance of this paper,the research status,research methods and innovations at home and abroad,which provides abundant reference materials for the writing of this paper.The first part of the text focuses on the general theory of practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,which lays a theoretical foundation for further research and discussion.The second part dialectically analyzes the current situation of practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,not only affirming its achievements in the development process but also pointing out the existing problems,and deeply analyzing the reasons.The second part is the important content of the whole paper,which takes the problems and causes as the entry point to pave the way for the countermeasures of the third part of the paper.The third part is the path analysis of improving the practical teaching effect of ideological and political course.This part is the final goal and final foothold of this paper.Actively discussing the effective countermeasures is the final destination to solve the problems in practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and points out the direction for improving the teaching effect of ideological and political courses.
