Research To Venues Utilization And Promotion Of The Colleges And Universities In Xi’an

National Fitness Program(2011- 2015) clearly requires that we should improve the efficiency of using sports facilities.In the case of security, the university should actively create situations for opening sports facilities to the public in the spare time or during the holidays.The resource utilization of sports venues is an important part of the utilization of higher education resources.University sports venues are moving forward to the directions of professionalization and Market oriented.The biggest problems at present for the university is how to dispose those available sports sites for the purpose of promoting the utilization rate of them.In order to implement the spirit of National Fitness Program(2011- 2015) and promote the utilization of the university sports venues in Xi’an,by methods of literature review,questionnaire,expert interview and mathematical statistic,the paper makes a study on the opening-use and promotion of the university sports venues in Xi’an.The results prove that:(1)The sports venues in Xi’an are comparatively abundant,achieving an above-average level which provides society with certain advantages to open and utilize them. Overall, the venues present the characteristics of diversification, miniaturization and a slow growth in number.Those key public universities gyms are relatively complete and the conditions are fairly good as well.(2)Most of the university sports venues in Xi’an are opened to the outside world and the majority of those for outdoor activities are free to open,that is to say,few are not opened to society.The open form of the venues which have been opened to the outside world is single.(3) The overall utilization efficiency of university sports facilities in Xi’an is not high.During non-teaching time and holidays, the facilities are not well enough opened.(4)The management methods and forms,rules and regulations in the venues lack standardization and unity.What’s more,the management mode is single and systematization level is not high.(5)The common elements that restrict the open and utilization of university sports facilities in Xi’an go as follows:capital shortage and its single source,geographical location,shortage of management talents in venues,managers’ low professional qualities,the conflicts between the open and utilization of sports venues and teaching time,the opening time of sports venues,exercisers’ safety and campus’ insecure hidden danger.At present,for the issue of the utilization of university sports venues in Xi’an and the influence factors,countermeasures are put forward.Widen the channel of fund construction and dig out the venues benefits.Perfect the supporting policies of the open and utilization of sports facilities.Bring into university evaluating content.Set up exemplary units for sports venues for open and and utilization.Apply professional management and improve and employment mechanism.Formulate an open plan which accords with the public’s exercise needs.Formulate open measures according to universities geographical location differences.Arrange opening time and formulate charging standards reasonably.Prolong opening time reasonably and promote the venues utilization.Formulate the opening types of venues.Safety precautions and standard management.Develop the venues multi-functionalization so as to promote the space of venues can be fully made use of.
