Chengdu City Ordinary Undergraduate Course Colleges And Universities Sports Venues Utilization Present Situation And Countermeasure Research

AS the material basics of physical exercise, gymnasium plays akey role in the development of sports industry. The fifth gymnasium census result ofChina revealed that the lack of gymnasium resource had prevented the developmentof Chinese sports industry, so making use of gymnasium efficiently became a bigissue. On the one hand, college sports gymnasium should satisfy the daily course; onthe other hand, it should serve the society as far as possible. It means that collegesports gymnasium could be open to students for free and charge for public in the timeafter school in order to improve the efficiency of gymnasium resource. Since the sixthUniversiade that held in Chengdu, the sports facilities in Universities of Chengdu hadbeen improved rapidly. But there still existed a big issue that there were not sufficientresource to support the operation andmaintenance of gymnasium. This thesis isfocused on the issues that mentioned above.With the method of questionnaire, delphi technique, on site visit anddocumentation, this article focused on the gymnasium resource distribution etc. Ofnine universities in Chengdu. Considering the utilization of gymnasium resource, weanalyzed the issues that existed in the publication of gymnasium resource. What weinvestigated were the old campus of the nice universities, additionally all of theseuniversities have new campus in suburban district. Finally we draw the conclusions asfollows.(1) Firstly there existed difference between these universities in sports facilities,which depends on the scale of universities.(2) The school facilities should be opened to the public as far as possible.(3)The sports facilities of universities in Chengdu faced the issues of openingtime, opening items and charges when open to public.(4)The operation of sports facilities not only need a perfect gymnasium resource,but also need rational manage mode.Proposal：We should borrow the success gymnasium operation mode fromhome and abroad to search a way suit for ourselves. With the analysis of gymnasiumresource distribution and utilization of universities in Chengdu also included theissues when that opened to public, this article try to search a sustainable developmentway for gymnasium resource in universities.
