The Research On Educational Equity Thought Of Marx

Marx did not devote himself to the issue of educational equity. He has researched and formed his own educational equity thought on the basis of previous fair thought on education. This paper attempts to be more comprehensive understanding of the current status of Chinese education development by the research on Marx’s educational equity thought. And regard it as our guide to build educational equity theory that could much more in line with Chinese national conditions.This paper focuses on the study of Marx’s educational equity to sort out and research through the following aspects. Firstly, we analyzed the formation of Marx’s educational equity thought. And elaborated it by the source of theory and social background two aspects respectively. Secondly, we stated the main contents of Marx’s educational equity thought. We not only interpreted "education" and "equity" of Marx’s opinion, but also raised that equal access to education is the basic requirements of educational equity thought, human freedom and comprehensive development is the highest ideal of educational equity thought and economic base, the superstructure and the social production is vital to educational equity thought. Thirdly, we summarized the basic characteristic and historical influence of Marx’s educational equity thought. We pointed out that Marx’s educational equity thought is the unity of reality and ideality, criticalness and inheritance, absoluteness and relativity, scientism and humanism. And we addressed the historic impact to Germany, Britain, the United States and China specifically. Finally, we summed up the significance of Marx’s educational equity thought. We mainly expounded its importance and its guiding significance to Chinese educational equity.Marx’s educational equity thought is an important part of Marxist theory system. By the study of Marx’s educational equity thought, it not only can enrich and develop Marxist theory, but also can provide a guide to our educational equity and promote to realize educational equity and social equity in China.
