Objectives:The aims of this study was to dicuss the acclimatization of altitude training at 2366m and compare the effect of training at two different aititudes, then seartch the factors that contribute to the variability of elite swimmers.Methods:37(20F,17M) elite swimmers were divided into three groups. Group H trained at 2366m,and L at 1890m.C stayed at sea level.Results:1) The erythropoietin increase after lday exposure to 2300m showed significantly increase. After 3 weeks haemoglobin was significantly increased.2) The erythropoietin increase after iday exposure showed different at two altitude.3) The responders had high EPO and low SF,then after altitude training high T/C,compared with nonresponders.
