Today, more and more people realize they have a tremendous need for the network without a fixed facility,therefore we do an in-depth study and exploit for the network that can networking at anytime. Self-organization network system and its terminal equipment abandon the type of network, with fixed facility.On the basis of this network, after development and innovation,self-organization network system have made great contributions to the terminal equipment of military networks in the battlefield. Self-organization network system has completely replaced the traditional network system become the fundamental research of military computer networking technology in the new age. Because of its excellent self-organizing function and selfhealing function and anti-destruction self-organization network system is with great research value and meaning in the field of National Defense. Self-organization network system can be seen everywhere on the modern battlefield,and combined with the excellent transmission characteristics of ultra-short wave,ultra-short wave self-organization network system is accepted by the National Advanced Research for all the countries. Self-organization network system that this paper study is vital to the civil fields and military fields.We will analyzed the characteristic of self-organization network system and its communication protocol in the paper.This paper describes the development,application background and its application in all fields of wireless network from its origin. Then we briefed describe some features of ultra-short self-organization network system,such as self-organizing network,dynamic topology and its unique network structure.We analyze the protocol issue of self-organization network,and introduce some common MAC protocols,and choose one of these MAC protocols to parse its control frames,and test the control frames parsing by testing actual data.Then we study the MAC of MIL-STD-188-220 C that be applied by America Communication Network,such as the frame type,format,the process of media access and the back off algorithm of the 220 C protocol. And we parse its control frames, and test the control frames parsing by testing actual data.Furthermore, we simulate four back off algorithms and access mechanism of MAC protocols include Aloha,CSMA,220C_RNAD,220C_DNAD by OPNET simulation platform.Then we analysis the simulation result and explain the merits and demerits of these MAC back off algorithms.Final we present an improved back off algorithm is based on 220C_RNAD.The simulation analyses prove that the improved back off algorithm can increase capacity of the network.Providing some references for the further research.
