Design Of Remote Positioning And Monitoring System Based On GPS/GSM

According to the demands of the current society,this project puts forward the design of remote positioning and monitoring system which is based on GPS/GSM.The design of this system aims at helping children and the old when they are in an emergency,sending text messages of their locations to the parents and children’s mobile phones.It can also transmit the information of current location in real-time display to the mapping software of the target mobile phone,so that parents and children can take proper measures in the shortest time, prevent from the accidents effectively,and achieve remote monitoring.The overall plan of the system is designed according to the function to achieve in this paper,the operation principle of the system and related technologies are introduced and analyzed in details.Subsequently,the hardware design and software design are made in the needs of the design and function.In terms of hardware design,it mainly adopts the 32-bit stm32f103c8t6 as the core control chip of the systematic circuit,and the peripheral critical hardware circuits includes the processor circuit of STM32,the driven circuit of GPS / GSM SIM808,the SIM card clamp circuit, the power supply circuit,the circuit of phonetic help,etc.. As far as software design is concerned,it mainly adopts the design of STM32 library function,completing the collection of GPS,sending GSM short messages and voice assistance with one click,and other functions.In addition to the above functions,it deeply makes the intensive study of the design principles of GPRS software and the secondary development of Google Maps API map.It turns out from the test results that the remote positioning and monitoring system designed in this project can send the information from GPS location to the target mobile phones through GSM short messages and it can also send out our own voices for help,which has been achieved the basic function and reached our expectations.
