In the earliest times,people thought of that employee satisfaction determines employee performance, and would affect the enterprise performance further, so the employee satisfaction was once the first consideration when each enterprise want to improve employee performance. But more and more researches improve that there is no direct connections between employee satisfaction and employee performance, namely staff with high satisfaction may not show high performance. So enterprise begin to pay close attention to the factors which really have a direct relationship with employ performance, namely employ engagement.In recent years, not only domestic and foreign scholars but also many consultant agencies conducted a great deal of analysis and survey research on employee engagement,but on the Blue Collar is rare. According to the investigation and analysis released by Gallup, employee engagement has a close relationship with employ performance,the improvement of employee engagement will highly improve organizational productivity and customer satisfaction,gain profit,and reduce the employee turnover rate and work accidents. Facing with the present "labour shortage" and frequent accidents from some of the industry, it’s very necessary for the A company as a part of manufacturing gainning competitive advantage by improving employee engagement.In this paper, a research of investigation of the blue-collar employees in the company A is done.And on the basis of the questionnaire survey,this paper do the data analysis through the statistical analysis software SPSS17.0Through the factor analysis of data classification and dimensional reduction, it is showed that there are five factors which mainly affect blue-collar employees engagement in the company A,namely: leadership and work, environment, pay, sense of achievement and professional development. But at the same time, through mean analysis, and concludes that the personal characteristics attributes the engagement and the factors on the difference.Finally through the correlation analysis, it reveals that the leadership, challenging work, and work load between the engagement there is significant corrlation,and was positively correlated;At the same time,there is also significant positive correlation between employee engagement and the professional development, pay.On the basis of the empirical analysis wih blue-collar in A company, this paper proposed the corresponding improvement suggestions:design reasonable staffing plan, establish efficient management mechanism, establish a fair and competitive salary system, pay attention to employee training and personal growth. Through improving and creating a environment and conditions for employee engagement, the aim is to promote employee engagement, and enhances the production efficiency of the enterprise.
