| With the raising the level of urban economic development, urban road has become a most familiar one of the most concerned about the public facilities. Closely linked to the rapid development of cities and urban road traffic, for the city’s old town, the road network system is formed under the actual situation in certain historical conditions and integration of the various regions, home and abroad, many cities in the Old Town lack of unified planning, coupled with the limited conditions of the urban road construction, as well as the existence of chaotic road system in the old town, the road is not clear, narrow road twists and turns, along with the development of production and daily life and traffic in the city, many cities of the old road need to transform to meet the needs of urban transport. Process of transformation of the old town road planning, design, construction, management and a number of reasons, in the old city road, there will be a lot of contradictions, the rapid growth of vehicle ownership, and the contradictions of the narrow streets at rush hour traffic congestion, with the improvement of people’s living standard, the requirements of the traffic environment will be more and more high, sewers and potholed streets makes getting higher and higher criticism of the urban residents, the local government sector feel the pressure. This paper will take Dongsheng District of Ordos City and Old Town city road improvement for examples, at the point of view on service-oriented government, previous human studies on the basis of further study in addition to the problems of the old town road planning, road improvement from the old town the existing contradictions and old town roads transformation planning and design, the cost of road reconstruction, road network layout, on-site construction and road management, analysis, trying to maximize the improvement of the urban environment and can play a positive role in improving the construction quality of the city. |
