Urban Expand Research Of Ordos Dongsheng District In The Recent Twenty Years

Data of this text are Dongsheng district of Ordos TM and ETM remote sensing images of in 1990, 2008 and 2000a.This paper research Dongsheng district urban expansion and land use and land coverage dynamic changes on the basis of field investigation and making use of remote sensing technique and geography information system image processing technique. According to social and economic data of statistical yearbooks of 1990 to 2007, the author to analysis driving force of urban expansion. The conclusions are as follows:(1) From 1990 to 2000 land-use change of study area is mainly farmland conversion to urban construction land, into an area of 771.3ha; in 2000-2008 of the study region, the main land-use change is substantial increase in urban construction land and woodland, at the same time to reduce other types. The increased area of urban construction land comes mainly from grassland and woodland, respectively, 2021.35ha and 616.31ha. Increased woodland area came mainly from the grasslands, covers an area of 21.9.37ha.(2)The urban construction land is expending in all direction between 1990-2000 and 2000-2008a, in general, the area of expend in 1990-2000a are more than the area in 2000-2008a. The urban construction land of Ordos Dongsheng district is slow in north, northeast and southeast. The east, west and northwest is the main expending direction. The socio-economic factors are the main expending reason.(3) Making buffer analysis on the center position of Dongsheng district, found that in 1990-2008 the urban construction land of Ordos Dongsheng district to expand along the axial expansion of main Road traffic model, performance for the urban construction land based on the main roads within the city axial expansion of the traffic outside, and continue to be enriched on both sides of the axis. 1990-2008 in the west of the City Railway, within the 201 State Road, is major regional expansion of the urban construction land of Dongsheng district, and form a new zone delegation West Development Zone and Southern Railway Zone.(4)As is seen from the actual land use of 2008, the main changes of land use in the study region from 1900-2000 are from the status quo of land use in 2008, the urban construction land and forest land area of the study region accounted for the total area of 30.85% and 52.42%, other types of the total land area of 16.73%.(5)The urban expansion of study region is relate to nature geographical factors and socio-economic factors. Nature geographical factors include topography Dongsheng district, water resources and precipitation; socio-economic factors include national policies, the level of urbanization, urban population increase, economic growth, mode of transportation development and construction of development zones and other factors.
