This thesis consists of five chapters. The first part is about the basic conditions of these two villages. It gives a brief explanation from geographical locations, climate, economy and social background. And in this way, it is convenient for us to make a clear comparison of their income and expenditure. In the second part, it’s mainly about the income difference between Hans and Chinese Mongolians of the two villages. With agriculture improving, the economy in countryside has developed into a new stage nowadays. Since our country has carried out the encouraging policies, for example, planting more trees in the previously farming land, agricultural subsidies, etc. farmers’enthusiasm has been greatly aroused. It is because of this, the peasants’income steadily increased and the life condition is hugely elevated. But at the same time, there are some limitations existing in Chinese Mongolian farmers, which prevent the income from rapidly growing, for instance, the impropriety of productive arrangement and the lack of attention to animal husbandry. In the third part, it studies the expenditure of those two kinds of people in the two villages. With the income increasing, the arrangement of expenditure altered accordingly. And meanwhile there are some unreasonable factors that limit the income growth. In the fourth part, it analyses the probable reasons in the income and expenditure differences of the two discussed nations above. The principle reasons are productive patterns, traditional customs and cultural background. In the fifth part, it draws a conclusion and proposes several solutions for further improvement.
