As remarkable achievements have been made in agricultural informationization in recent years, agricultural informationization, as a new force of agricultural modernization drive, plays an irreplaceable role in promoting farmers’ income. According to the research results of domestic scholars, agricultural informatization can effectively promote the increase of farmers’ income, and has obvious multiplication effect for increasing farmers’ income, and it is the “multiplier” for rural social and economic development, however, how to verify it in quantitative form has become the research gap in the aspect. In the research,Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture with good agricultural informationization development foundation is selected as the research object. Through the statistical data from 2005 to 2014, quantitative analysis of its agricultural informatization and the farmers’ income is conducted via Granger causality, bivariate correlation and other methods so as to judge their relationship.According to the research results, there is a cointegration relationship between agricultural informatization and the increase of farmers’ income; when the former increases by 1 unit, the latter will increase by 0.9732 unit; in case of the development deviation in short term, it will be adjusted with the-1.02 of degree. Although there is no inevitable causal connection between agricultural informatization and farmers’ income, their correlation coefficient is as high as 0.994, and there is significant positive correlation, showing the two variables are highly correlated. Therefore, the research analysis results that agriculture informationization promotes farmers’ income can basically support the relevant research results at home and abroad. However, because agricultural informatization developed relatively late in Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, it has not exerted its ideal effect in increasing farmers’ income. Moreover, there are certain problems in its development, such as low direct utilization rate of information, and poor sharing level; imbalances between agricultural information service supply and demand, inaccurate agricultural information service orientation, lower educational level and poorer receptivity of farmers; the obvious contradiction between supply and demand of e-commerce professionals, e-commerce trading imbalances, and backward e-commerce facilities; shortage, knowledge aging and slow knowledge updating, as well as lower work enthusiasm of the personnel popularizing agricultural information. Therefore, Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture should actively draw lessons from the experience at home and abroad, strengthen the construction of information resources, perfect the information service system, positively develop agricultural e-commerce, pay attention to the talent team construction, and encourage famers to update ideological concept so as to effectively increase the income of farmers in Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture.
