TPMmethod is used to decrease the waste and increase the competition ability under thebackground of above.In the Eight pillars activities of TPM, TPM Self-preservation activities is basedon the idea that “our own equipment managed by ourselves”, and Production teamstaff take the equipment maintenance activities with this idea. Equipment maintenanceis the starting point of this activity and improve the quality of other seven activities.however, because the number of people attending TPM Autonomous-maintenanceactivities is too many and low level, added to the methods and contents are differentaccording to different industries, many companies face a lot of hardships when theyuse the TPM into the produce, and there is no more inference to learn.This paper expound the TPM and Autonomous-maintenance methodsystematicly on the basis of deep study of the theory of Autonomous-maintenanceactivities. And research the effective relationships between business operations andTPM Autonomous-maintenance mechanism, after that I have a depth analysis of theproblems in Chinese enterprises’ TPM Autonomous-maintenance activities, includingleadership, organizational guarantee, Regular meeting/evaluation/diagnosis regime,train&education and other special activities combined with TPM method. Throughmy ten years of management consulting practice, I will propose the suggestions andinnovate a new effective way to solve these questions. In final, combined with the realcase of DH company, you will see the analysis of the questions and the solve methodsduring the process that DH used the TPM into practice, we also have an evaluation ofits methods. What is more, the research this paper conducted would also helpful toother Chinese companies when they use the TPM method.
