TPM has been widely spread and used in the vehicle manufacturing industry. For the reason, the implementation of TPM can help the enterprise reduce kinds of loss during the process of production and operation. In the meantime, it enhances the operation rate of the equipment, improves the operation capability and some other management aspects of the whole company.The group activities are usually takenas the main form to carry out TPM. The continuous improvement raised the level of equipment management, make the enterprise to reduce the cost, improve the quality, and maximize the profit. So, the TPM is valued as the necessary program to research and spread in the manufacturing company. Leaders attach great importance to this subject. The employees also have tasted the sweets in the preservation of TPM, and in turn, has a closer relationship with the enterprise. It improvesthe operators’ work enthusiasm, and raises their sense of honor.In view of this, based on the traditional equipment management concept, the author made investigation of the current situation in X vehicle manufacturing company. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of TPM in the enterprise, the author made the benefit attempt. A scheme is proposed, which include establishing the organization structure, confirming the main promoting line, setting up the model shift and so on, in order to solve the bottleneck in the implementation on TPM in the enterprise.Through the application and exploration, the author strives to find a suitable model for the independent brandvehicle manufacturing enterprise, so as to improve the firm’s core competitiveness, and win more market opportunities. In the process of collectivization leapfrog development, the equipment is surely an important tool to create profits for X automobile manufacturing enterprise. The equipment operation level affects the overall production efficiencydirectly, and can also influence the social and economic benefitsindirectly. For safe, smooth and efficient operation, the equipment systemshould be managed and maintainedindependently.The two important points are, whether the operators have the conscientious of autonomous maintenance, and whether there is strong backing to support the continuous promoting of TPM. It will cause visible effect and invisible effect developing the innovating TPM: the visible effect is that efficiency of manpower and equipment, the acceptability can be enhanced obviously. It can also reduce the lead times, and reduce various of unnecessary loss, so that the enterprise can acquire more profit. The invisible effects are: first, it can strengthen the employee’s consciousness of improvement; second, it can raise the employee’s skills. Third, the operator will have the concept that “I’m responsible for my machine”. So, it can not only ensure the whole performance of the equipment system, and also can expand the service life of equipment, and create more benefits for the enterprise. This paper researched how to carry out TPM in X vehicle manufacturing company. It is meaningful to promote steady development of the enterprise, and to create obvious economic benefits and social benefits. Meanwhile, it is also a reference for the same industry.
