Lean thinking can not only be applied to lean production, but also generate ahuge role in promoting lean service. In this thesis, with the in-depth analysis of leanthinking, we put forward the ideas and ways of creating a lean management intraditional service-oriented enterprises.Firstly, to achieve lean service, we must understand the concept of lean andextension. To create a lean service-oriented enterprise, the most important is not theapplication of lean methods and tools, but the heritage of lean cultural. This thesiselaborates the role of cultural change in the implementation of continuousimprovement, and with the reference to the Six Sigma methods, we propose thatcultural change is the foundation of the organization achieving continuousimprovement. Without the cultural change, organizations would still face enormouschallenges even after initial improvement. Only by changing the culture to accept leanthinking can the organization enter the track of continuous improvement truly.Secondly, compared to the production-oriented enterprises, the difficulty of theimplementation of lean management in the traditional service-oriented enterprises liesin the identification of users’ value. To determine the users’ value, we must analysecustomers’ demands with value stream mapping. This thesis argues that as thebreakthrough of the implementation of lean management, the value stream will play apositive and exemplary role in the traditional service-oriented enterprises.In this thesis, we take the implementation of lean management in Tianjin RealEstate Heating Company as an example. On the basis of introducing the constructionand lean team composition, we focus on how to discriminate core value process andhow to carry on the users’ value analysis and process analysis. We also introduce theseminar of process analysis and show the conclusion.Finally, on the basis of case analysis, we take the effect of lean improvement inTianjin Real Estate Heating Company as a reference, and put forward the prospect oflean improvement in traditional service-oriented enterprises.
