| From 1980 s till now,Chinese automotive industry experienced a brilliant 30 years.In 2009,the vehicle produced quantity in China even became No.1 in the world.With the development of automotive industry,the automotive component industry also had a high speed development.After the first round joint venture of car OEM founded in China,many foreign component suppliers also came to China and set up their plant in China.But with the worldwide economic depression,the automotive component industry in China also reduced their development speed.Most of the foreign component suppliers in China are facing the situation of cost increasing year by year and the profit rate is going down every year.How can the component supplier overcome this situation and survive in the market?This article is trying to analysis the operation status of BOS automotive system Taicang plant to find the problems and challenges which BOS is currently facing.In order to solve those problems,this article analyzed BOS production system,organization,management system and company culture with a lean thinking.Finally the author designed an improved lean system for BOS Taicang plant in the future.We hope that we can integrate the resource which we had,to use the limited resource more efficiency to the value added activities.We wanted not only to reduce the operation cost but also keep the company existing advantage,and finally we can increase the competitive power on the market.Through this research we can found: it is so important for any company(especially those well-developed companies)to have lean development concept.Any company who want to be more competitive on the market must have a lean think and realize a lean DNA into company culture.This research is focusing on BOS automotive system Taicang plant,but it still can be a reference and guidance for any other enterprise in the same industry. |
