In the enterprise, the leadership behavior is one of the important factors affectingemployee satisfaction. Different leadership behavior will have different effect onemployees. At present, There are a lot of researches on the relation between employeesatisfaction and leadership behavior, but due to the differences between Chinese andwestern culture, based on the background of Chinese Confucian culture, the researches onthe the relation between employee satisfaction and leadership behavior were rare.Therefore, this article explores the structure characteristics of the state-owned enterpriseleadership behavior and its correlation relationship for the employee satisfaction under thebackground of Confucian culture. The study not only makes exploration of leadershipbehavior more specific in our country, but also provides a reference opinions forleadership to improve employee satisfaction.This paper combines the method of normative research and empirical research. Firstof all, based on the Confucian cultural background, determine the leadership behaviorstructure in state-owned enterprises. Based on the systematic investigation aboutleadership behavior related literature at home and abroad, combined with China’sConfucian culture core thought and main content, summarizes the sort out qualifiedleadership behavior characteristics. And then, using exploring factor analysis andconfirmatory factor analysis method to determine the state-owned enterprise leadershipbehavior characteristics, including four dimensions: virtue dimensions, humanitydimension, authority dimension and the doctrine of the mean dimension. On this basis,according to the correlation between employee satisfaction and leadership behaviorresearch literature review, constructed the theoretical model of the present study andproposes the corresponding research hypothesis. Using the description statistics, reliabilityanalysis, validity analysis and structural equation analysis to test the the correlationbetween leadership behavior and employee satisfaction in state-owned enterprises underthe confucian culture. The results showed that: in the perspective of confucian culture,leadership behavior of the state-owned enterprises virtue dimensions, kindly dimension, the doctrine of the mean dimension, and employee satisfaction has significant positivecorrelation., but dimension authority and employee satisfaction has significant negativecorrelation. According to the result of the study, put forward rationalization proposals andimproving methods for China’s leadership in order to improve the employee satisfaction.
