Urbanization as an important way to produce human civilization change, thepopulation of the city is important to gradually shift the way rural agglomeration.Because of its transformation process gathered a lot of labor, expanding the scale of thecity seems to have become an important driver of economic growth. Although since thereform and opening up to the resident population measure of urbanization and economicgrowth reflects the high synergy, but by limiting the level of urbanizationnon-agricultural hukou population measure is still significantly lower than the worldaverage. On the other hand, the process of urban expansion under housing prices, increased pollution, traffic congestion continue to show a negative phenomenon seemsto show the Chinese urbanization facing " premature aging " morbid trend. On the otherhand, eighteen more carefully written report and urbanization strategy and will upgradeto the core of the household registration reform, China really need how urbanization, household controls constitute the main reason morbid urbanization, we need to kind ofhousehold registration policy is a great question worth considering.Based on existing literature, we propose three hypotheses urbanization driveeconomic growth under the constraint of household registration, in an attempt to clarifythe relationship between urbanization, household registration control and economicgrowth. Use2000-2010data of31provinces, autonomous regions and municipalitiesdirectly under the hypothesis constructed and related metrics and regression testing.Preliminary panel regression model to verify the current urbanization drive economicgrowth and the current hypothesis is reasonable urbanization rely mainly on physicalcapital transfer, human capital and R&D capital contribution under the constraint ofpotential domicile relatively weak features. Endogenous further search is more certainthreshold of urbanization driven by economic growth under three dynamic stages hukouconstraints: too loose household registration policy has led to economies of scaleurbanization not optimal, but overly stringent controls are equally distorted domicile theurban scale role in promoting economic growth; urbanization process in China,"premature aging " phenomenon is just an illusion caused by the household registrationconstraint. Finally, this paper packet threshold regression results were driven screeningunified quantification of economic growth, the results indicate that the effect of low-quality talent into a crowded too loose under the control of the household registration makes the urbanization drive economic growth was mainly driven by the populationdirectly dependent on the size; while binary discriminatory policy is too harsh underthe control of the household registration makes gradual involution floating population, human capital, research and development technology transfer channels damagedproperty; current household registration policy should be used to control the mostmoderate in order to maximize economic growth.Based on these studies, we propose the following policy recommendations fromthe perspective of the household registration controls were: first, the householdregistration reform as a complex project that requires a gradual rather than overnight, should be settled in a scientific and reasonable conditions set oppose a blanket overrelaxation or excessive strengthening; Secondly, the need to reduce householdregistration reform education and public services, health care, employment and otheraspects linked to the hukou linked benefits; third, gradually increase the social welfareof non-household population; Finally, the household registration system reform and theneed for official promotion system of government functions changes.
