As contemporary tourism constantly towards the direction of "personalized"and "ecological" and domestic urban residents’ awareness of naturalization as well asreform of the holiday regulations, short experienced trip has been a boiling traveltrend. Happy Farming Tourism has been the first choice of short experienced tripbecause of its unique resources and forms which is “Having rural style dinner, livingin farm house, doing farmers do and enjoying happy farming”. The negative impactsof Happy Farming Tourism towards residents of destination have gradually becomeapparent. These negative impacts restrict healthy sustainable development of HappyFarming Tourism. And as the important interest group of Happy Farming Tourism,the support of residents of destination plays a decisive role in the rapid developmentof Happy Farming Tourism. So it’s of necessity to form the perspective of residentsof destination and reveal the existing issues of Happy Farming Tourism from depthaspect and establish effectively controlling measures to promoting the Happy FarmTourism to a mature direction.The paper analyses and summarizes the thesises of domestic and overseas onthe economic and social culture impacts of tourism towards destination. On the basis,combining the theoretical research results from domestic and overseas, taking Fangvillage in Urumqi county as an example, making use of the theoretical and empiricalresearch methods, the thesis studies the economic and social culture impacts oftourism on residents of destination. Results are as follows:(1) The main impacts of economic are in17aspects of two dimentions on theincome and employment of residents. The main impacts of social culture are in29aspects of two dimentions on the culture of residents and social relations. It foundsthat Happy Farm Tourism has both positive and negative impacts on the residents ofdestination, but it is given priority to the positive influence. Local residents supportthe development of Happy Farm Tourism. And the study raises countermeasures onthe basis of analysis data.(2)The study shows that the impacts on economic are different with differenteducation level, family income per year and occupation. It also shows that theimpacts on social culture are different with different age, education level andoccupation.
