A Study On Soybean Industry Development Problem Of Heilongjiang

Our country is one of the traditional major soybean producing country, soybeanis one of the main agricultural products export of our country. However, as theimported soybean entering into the Chinese market, domestic soybean industry isheavily damaged. Heilongjiang province is a major soybean producing areas of ourcountry, which production accounts for about30%of the total national output，butits soybean import presents surging trend in resent years. Heilongjiang province isChina’s important commodity grain producing base, it shoulders the burden of China’ssoybean food security. This paper focuses on two parts of Heilongjiang soybeanindustry chain which are called producing and trade. From the production atrophy andsurge in imports two major dilemmas which are the development of the Heilongjiangprovince soybean industry faces. On the basis of the theoretical analysis of factorsaffecting producing and import trade in Heilongjiang province, by using the gravitymodel soybean import trade in the province, finding that in addition to the pricedisadvantage, such as the producing ability of soybean gap between Heilongjiangsoybean and foreign ones has considerable influence on the increase in imports. Sothe factor analysis method is used to Heilongjiang soybean industry output analysis,finding Heilongjiang soybean producing function. Finally combining with theanalysis of two aspects, related suggestions are given to Heilongjiang soybeanindustry development.
